Welcome Explorer Studios!
Here is an example of my writing style...
It was 3am and the sky was a carpet of deep blue, sprinkled with glistening stars.
I quietly climbed out of my rooftop tent and onto the grass layered with frost. It was the 21st of June - Winter Solstice. Every year I have a tradition of climbing a mountain to watch the sunrise for both Winter & Summer Solstice and each time I find myself in a different and wonderful location. On this particular day, I was camping along the coastline of Tasmania and had decided to climb Mount Amos in Freycinet National Park.
It was a mountain I had never climbed before and had only briefly seen the previous day but I could barely sleep thinking about the fun adventure that lay ahead. I laced up my hiking boots, filled a thermos with hot tea, strapped on my head torch and trekked to the trailhead.
The climb was steep, rocky & challenging in the dark but I enjoyed every moment. I had the entire mountain to myself and the only sounds that filled the air were the gentle breeze and the distant crash of waves below.
To say my breath was taken away when I reached the summit, is a complete understatement! What lay before me was the most incredible and awe inspiring view. I could see the whole of Wineglass Bay below, every constellation in the night sky and the faint glow of first light on the horizon.
I perched myself on a boulder and poured a steaming hot cup of tea while I soaked in all my surroundings... pure magic!
Over the next hour, I watched the sky transform in a myriad of colours from dark purples and reds, to pastel pinks, yellows and blues and then finally the burst of bright golden light as the sun launched over the ocean horizon.
The entire experience was breathtaking and its always moments like these that inspire me to live life to the fullest, adventure often and make the most of every moment.
The three photos that accompany this story are as follows:

- Golden hour as the sun rose above the ocean & mountains
- The view after the sunrise had ended & the day had begun!
